Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain is a pet-friendly attraction in Big Bear Lake, California, including dog-friendly sections throughout the recreational area, including an eating area, and year-round activities for the whole family. The Alpine Pedal Path connects all of the beaches along Highway 38 in Big Bear Lake that are dog friendly.

The 1.6-mile Castle Rock Trail in San Bernardino National Forest is an easy, dog-friendly hike that will take you approximately an hour to complete with Petzooie. This little hike is a lovely way to get away from it all and enjoy the surroundings. On a route dotted with granite rocks, take in the lake vistas. The lake is fed by a little stream that runs alongside the trail.

Big Bear Lake's Bark Park is pet-friendly. A number of agility things, as well as a bench for humans to sit on while their dogs play together, can be found in this popular entertainment area. Dogs can go through a tunnel, investigate a metal dog silhouette, and play fetch on the grass. Dog owners are advised to pick up any mess left behind by their pets while enjoying the park.

The 6.9-mile Pine Knot Trail to Grand View Point trek in San Bernardino National Forest is dog-friendly and reasonably easy, taking around 3 hours to complete with Petzooie. Take Mill Creek Road, which becomes Forest Service Road 2N10/Skyline Drive, to a point just below the top where the route crosses the road for a shorter climb.

The Alpine Pedal Path is a 3.2-mile (one-way) asphalt trail that is perfect for morning jogs, bike rides, leisurely walks, or simply walking the dog. Along the trip, there is plenty of fresh air and magnificent landscapes. There are also access points to the lake and several beaches. Dogs are permitted on the condition that the owner assumes full responsibility for them.
