Franklin Canyon Park is a 605-acre park located in the heart of Los Angeles. Chaparral, grasslands, and oak woodlands, a three-acre lake, an ADA-accessible duck pond, vast picnic sites, and over five miles of hiking paths are all found within the park's limits. Birds in the Pacific flyway use the lake and pond as a permanent and seasonal habitat. The Sooky Goldman Nature Center, the Sam Goldman Amphitheater, and the Eugene and Michael Rosenfeld Auditorium are among the park's attractions. At all times, dogs must be leashed.
