A 1.8-mile walking track, picnic tables, and a playground for children are all available at Collier's Ferry. It's also a fantastic spot for launching a boat and taking a ride down the Neches River. Alternatively, unwind on the dock while observing boats and fishermen on the water. Crab off the pier or from the beach. There are four boat ramps in the park, as well as enough of parking for boats and trailers. There is no overnight docking allowed.

At the City's first dog park, located within Ida Reed Park, dogs of all sizes can run and play off-leash and socialize with other dogs. On a journey through Beaumont, this dog-friendly park is a great place to stop and let your pet stretch their legs. Slides, swings, and a jungle gym are among the park's attractions for children. A tennis court and two basketball courts add to the fun, and a gazebo and plenty of trees make it an ideal spot for a family picnic.
