Island Park

Trestle Park was constructed in 2012 to commemorate the logging days of 1882 to 1887 by erecting a vintage railroad trestle.

In January 1993, Visit Lenawee was founded as a separate 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization to promote tourism in the area (Previously known as the Lenawee County Conference and Visitors Bureau).

A new pavement studded with blue paw prints leads to the dog park, which is located near the skate park. It's split into two sections, one for tiny dogs and the other for larger dogs. There are chairs, shade trees, and garbage bag dispensers.

H.O.P.E. Animal Shelter and the Friends of the Miners Memorial Heritage Park collaborated on the Ironwood Dog Park, which is located within the Miners Memorial Heritage Park.

The Miners Memorial Heritage Park is built on the reclaimed site of iron mines that supplied the metal for America's industrial revolution in the late 1800s and early 1900s!
