F5RS (Frisky Ferrets, Fuzzies, & Feathered Friends Rescue & Sanctuary) is committed to the application and advocacy of the notion that all healthy, ill, injured, or behaviorally unsound animals have a right to life in situations where medical and/or behavioral intervention can ensure quality of life.

The only humane society in Mahoning County is Animal Charity, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a veterinary facility. Millions of pets suffer abuse, neglect, and abandonment every year.
