Wytheville Dog Pound

Dogs from GCG Animal Shelter are in need of homes in the Virginian counties of Grayson, Carroll, Patrick, Floyd, Pulaski, Wythe, Smyth, and Washington.

We ask that you send us a private message if you would like to inquire about a specific animal or about adoptions. Despite our best efforts, we occasionally fail to reply to one or two comments because we do not receive notifications when new comments are posted.

All of the equipment required for your foster will be provided by us. We are eager to develop our foster program and engage with the neighborhood.

The Animal Care and Adoption Center now offers cats. If they are unable to care for them, Montgomery County citizens may adopt out their cats. Additionally, kittens and wounded cats will be brought to the center for care and placement in new homes.
