Westfield Homeless Cat Project

The animal shelter is only accessible to the public by appointment due to a staffing shortage. Services for animal control are offered every day.

A 501C3 non-profit with a federal authorization is Mutt Rescue. It holds a permit from the Massachusetts Department of Charities to import animals into the state.

The practical and cutting-edge services provided by Dakin Humane Society enhance both the quality of life for animals in need and the people who care about them.

The TJO Animal Control and Adoption Center's animals are cared for by the Foundation for TJO Animals, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We provide financial support for medical care and rehabilitative services when animals require a little extra tender loving care. We provide the finest care we can for sick and wounded animals. We also encourage environmental enrichment, which refers to activities and tools that reduce stress for our residents while they are in the shelter.

The cities of Springfield, Chicopee, and Holyoke get animal control services from the Thomas J. O'Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center.
