In order to meet a need for the animal rescue community, Final Victory Animal Rescue and Rescue Services was established in May 2017.

The Midlands of South Carolina's Pawmetto Lifeline, originally Project Pet, was established in 1999 with the goal of establishing a No-Kill community.

The goal of Animal Mission, a 501(c)(3) charity, is to remove obstacles to spay and neuter services for all local pet owners in order to address the underlying causes of shelter overcrowding and euthanasia in the Midlands of South Carolina.

Welcome to Columbia, South Carolina's A Paw's Paradise, LLC! We are a dog daycare and boarding facility that accepts dogs of all shapes, sizes, and ages.

Over $3 million in taxes are spent annually in an effort to reduce the number of stray animal populations. In Lexington and Richland Counties, there were approximately 26,000 homeless dogs and cats entering municipal shelters at the time Pawmetto Lifeline launched in 1999, and 96% of these animals were routinely put to death due to a lack of knowledge and resources. Most of these animals are healthy, treatable, and adoptable. The leaders of Pawmetto Lifeline have developed a solution due to the lack of resources in the Midlands and the conviction that killing a domesticated population in order to manage it is morally wrong.
