Puppyland Humane Society Inc

The Washington County Humane Society's objective is to protect animals from suffering and abuse, to care for animals that have been neglected or abandoned, and to improve the lives of both animals and people through adoption, education, and compassion.

Our goal is to protect the wellbeing of every German Shepherd dog during every stage of life. We save, heal, and rehome the unwanted and abandoned. Our commitment is to provide every GSD with the love and life they each deserve, along with the help of our volunteers and kind donations.

WHS cares for 40,000 animals per year. We are not a part of any national umbrella group and do not get general government financing. WHS provides the following specialized services as the biggest shelter in the state of Wisconsin:

In October 2007, Tailwaggers 911 Dog Rescue (TW 911), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was established. Simply said, we are a group of outgoing individuals who also happen to be passionate dog lovers.

Boxers are accepted by Green Acres Boxer Rescue, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, from all parts of Wisconsin. Since our organization's founding in 1999, we have aided well over 1000 canines.

Doodle's Ranch and Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 organization that works to save and enhance the lives of cats with special needs. We believe that every cat should have the opportunity to live a full, happy, and healthy life, thus we take on the roles of their advocate, voice, and safety. Doodle's Ranch is more than just a sanctuary; it is a philosophy and way of life.
