The Kitty Rescue

The Wenatchee Valley Humane Society was established in 1967 by Gwyneth and Bruce Mitchell, fulfilling their aim of providing homes and hope for stray animals in the Wenatchee Valley. The shelter increased in size and services as the Mitchells carried out their purpose. The Wenatchee Valley Humane Society still upholds their history and dedication today.

At the Quincy Animal Shelter, we are committed to fostering a feeling of community as well as the welfare of animals. By providing community members with knowledge, collaborating closely on a spay and neuter program with Washington State University, and cultivating ties within the community, we further our objective. We desire for the abandoned, unloved, lost, and orphaned animals that enter our care to thrive and discover loving new homes.

We have a great selection of cats and dogs available for adoption, and the Ellensburg Yakima Humane Society is constantly searching for people to help. We cordially invite you to come see our animals and consider adopting one of them.

We are a Grant County, Washington, nonprofit animal rescue. assisting abandoned and found/lost pets. We offer Adoption of Rescued Pets as well as Rehoming Services.

Our goal is to provide the homeless and abandoned with refuge. to protect those who have been mistreated and neglected. to spread awareness of the value of responsible pet ownership and maintenance in the community.

Every day, dogs and cats in the Yakima Valley pass away from abuse, homelessness, or euthanasia in shelters. This is not necessary. If only given the chance, almost every animal brought to a rescue has the capacity to make a devoted and affectionate pet.
