Watauga Animal Control

An all-volunteer, non-profit 501(c)3 group called Almost Home Rescue is committed to saving abandoned, abused, and neglected animals. Our headquarters are in North Fort Worth, Texas, but we also support the local neighborhoods there.

The City of North Richland Hills Neighborhood Services Department includes a division called Animal Services. Animal Services manages the city's Animal Adoption & Rescue Center and seeks to promote the health, safety, and welfare of both people and animals in the neighborhood (AARC).

We have been working with cat rescue since 2009 and have three cats of our own (as shown in our logo). We have probably fostered well over 100 cats throughout that time as they searched for their forever homes.

Many adorable animals are up for adoption at the City of Richland Hills Animal Services Center and are waiting for their forever homes. Animal Services manages the animal population in Richland Hills in addition to providing services and advocating for the humane treatment of animals, protecting the general public.

The goal of the animal rules as set forth herein is to promote the health, safety, morals, and general welfare of the City of Haltom City.
