Washington Animal Shelter

In St. George, Utah, we are a city-owned and -operated animal shelter, and we work to place the animals who are brought in the shelter into loving homes. The St. George Police Department and the city both hire our personnel.

501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, volunteer animal rescue group PAWS (Providing Animals With Support) was established in 2002. We save animals whose euthanasia is planned because shelters are overcrowded. They are first placed in foster homes or at our adoption center before being adopted into reputable permanent families. Only contributions and volunteers support PAWS.

Animal rescue organization RSQ is based in St. George, Utah. Our goal is to improve the lives of animals in rural communities in Utah by speaking up for the silent.

We are a St. George, Utah-based nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization committed to improving people's lives by matching service dogs with children and adults with disabilities, including veterans of the US military.

All of Hurricane City is served by the Hurricane Animal Shelter. Our shelter is a highly stylish and contemporary building.
