Ward Animal Shelter

Through education and community services, Cabot Animal Support Services encourages responsible pet ownership, the humane treatment of all animals, and pet sterilization in an effort to reduce unnecessary overpopulation. We are built to mobilize the minds, hands, and emotions of our neighborhood to effect the change required to enhance the link between people and animals.

The shelter takes care of stray or abandoned animals, offers educational resources to promote responsible pet ownership, looks into complaints, and upholds the city's animal care and control ordinances.

This beautiful cat had health issues her family couldn’t take care of, so she came to us, and we quickly found her a place in our shelter.
