All Humane Animal Rescue

The foremost no-kill animal shelter in Northern New Jersey, Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc. (RBARI), is committed to giving homeless and mistreated dogs and cats in New Jersey a second opportunity by offering them a safe haven, necessary medical and behavioral care, as well as new permanent homes.

Animals have been rescued by the Bloomingdale Regional Animal Shelter Society (BASS) from that year. We take in stray, owner-surrendered, and abandoned pets and work hard to find them new, devoted homes. We have a team of passionate volunteers who are committed to this program and to giving residents of BASS outstanding care.

By providing stray animals with a safe haven until they may be reunited with their owners or adopted into responsible homes, the NJ CAS serves the community's citizens and animals. The mission of NJ CAS is to treat everyone with dignity, compassion, and kindness.

Animal Control also looks into reports of animal cruelty and neglect, rabies control, feral cat issues, animal bites, and quarantines.
