After seven years of praying, Hope for Life Rescue Inc. was founded in February 2002. The founder had been independently rescuing animals for several years prior, and she frequently visited other local rescue meetings to observe how they ran their operations.

Our mission is carried out by cooperating with the public and other animal welfare organizations, enforcing the domestic animal laws of the Commonwealth and the City, offering educational programs, and providing the unwanted, stray, abused, and abandoned animals in our City with humane care, food, and a secure environment.
