501 C3 non-profit, no-kill Lovable Paws Rescue and Sanctuary is registered organization committed to reducing abuse, neglect, and overpopulation of undesired canines.

Animals that become transient residents of our shelter are under the care and supervision of Colleton County Animal Services. Animal Control Officers respond to inquiries and complaints from the public and look into shady situations involving animals in Colleton County, such as stray, abandoned, or abused reports.

With the goal of lowering the number of abandoned dogs, Friends of Colleton County Animal Shelter helps the homeless animals at the shelter through fundraising, volunteerism, adoption events, education, and other means.
