A nonprofit organization called 11th Hour K9 Rescue, Rehab, and Rehome is dedicated to giving dogs in desperate situations one last chance at finding a forever home.

The Humane Society of the North Bay was founded in 1986 as a private, nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation to provide shelter and adoption services for stray animals. Previously, we went by the name Benicia-Vallejo Humane Society.

A 501c3 nonprofit organization called Martina Animal Rescue assists in the rescue of dogs from Bay Area county and city animal control services as well as local shelters.

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit company called Vizsladogs, Ltd. is home to the Vizsla Rescue Haven, which provides long-term foster care for Vizslas who are no longer adoptable. We provide care for exceptional redheads who have ended up in rescue organizations, shelters, or whose family can no longer care for them from our site in Oakley, California, but who have little chance of being adopted.

Animals are the focus of Goldie and Papis' Animal Rescue. Provide a warm home for fostering until adoption.

Located in the San Francisco-East Bay area, Bitten By A Kitten Rescue is a private rescue. We take litters from private parties and prevent orphan kittens from being put to death at neighborhood shelters. We frequently bring orphan litters for bottle feeding.
