You won't change the world by saving an animal, but you will change that animal's world by protecting and giving voice to homeless animals.

The Brevard Humane Society's mission is to find each animal in its care a loving, long-term home, to encourage responsible pet ownership, and to offer spay/neuter treatments and programs.

For us, being a "no kill" community and fulfilling our mission of providing humane care and treatment for all animals depend on this.

Along with many others, we assist dogs, pigs, horses, and snakes. We are available to assist your pet however they require. No matter the breed, age, or appearance, we will find a home for your pet or they are welcome to stay with us as long as they like.

Our goal is to save and improve the lives of dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, and conditions who have endured neglect, cruelty, abandonment, or overcrowding in animal shelters with a high kill rate.

We take in unwanted and stray animals from the City of Edgewater and work to place those that can be adopted into loving homes.
