Sturgis Animal Shelter

Animals who have been mistreated, abandoned, forgotten, or lost are protected, saved, and given better lives at the Western Hills Humane Society, a no-kill animal shelter.

A South Dakota-chartered not-for-profit organization, Hobo's Healing Heart serves the counties of Butte, Custer, Lawrence, Meade, and Pennington in South Dakota as well as Crook County in Wyoming.

Our mission is to improve the lives of all animals that come into contact with us. To this end, we use no kill principles, TNR (Trap, Neuter, and Release), and education to save cat lives through rescue, medical assistance, adoption, and spay/neuter in Rapid City, South Dakota, and the surrounding Black Hills.

Tru Catch Traps has been offering the most dependable and humane live animal traps since 1987. Our traps are used all around the world by humane societies, animal shelters, wildlife experts, and animal control agents.
