Every cat or kitten undergoes a professional veterinarian's examination, feline leukemia testing, age-appropriate vaccinations, and any additional care necessary to restore the animal to health. Each cat or kitten is carefully matched with the appropriate household with great care.

Real footage of our officers and employees at work assisting Macomb County's residents and animals can be seen throughout "On Patrol." We sincerely hope that you will stick with us as we look into animal abuse, engage the community, save the animals in our care, and much more.

The animals in our care have no time limit, and we are pleased to be a high-save shelter. Our objective is to place all of the adoptable animals who come to our shelter in homes.

Boxer Haven Rescue is available to assist you. There are events we don't want to occur but must accept, knowledge we don't want to acquire but must learn, and dogs we can't live without but must let go of.
