Canyon Lake Animal Shelter Society is located in central Texas, halfway between San Antonio and Austin (CLASS). A non-profit 501c3 NO KILL companion animal shelter that was first created in 1998, Comal County, Texas, and surrounding areas are served by it.

The Bulverde Area Humane Society is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization that offers a safe haven for abandoned and homeless dogs and cats.

The 501(c)3 non-profit PAWS Shelter of Central Texas (PAWS) was established in Kyle, Texas, in 1986 to care for homeless, abandoned, and abused animals in the region. We are a no-kill shelter that supports giving animals another chance! For however long it takes us to find them a loving home, PAWS provides companion animals with medical treatment, care, and love.

The Humane Society of New Braunfels, a 501c3 non-profit, has agreements with the City of New Braunfels and Comal County to keep stray animals brought in by their Animal Control Divisions even though we are not financed by the city, the county, or any national humane groups.

In the past, animal control officers or private residents who submitted feral cats to the Humane Society of the New Braunfels Area had them put to death. This neighborhood will now be able to sterilize and vaccinate feral cats and release them back into their original habitat thanks to a new cooperative effort.
