ChiHaven of Michigan

In Michigan, Downriver Central Animal Control (DCAC) is a state-licensed animal shelter that was formed by the merger of the animal control divisions of four different cities (Allen Park, Southgate, Riverview, and Wyandotte).

We save pets that have been abandoned or turned over to veterinary offices for a variety of reasons, including as age, illness, and behavior (mostly cats and dogs).

Numerous services are offered by the Taylor Animal Shelter, including animal adoptions, lost and found animal intake, licensing, animal rescue inside the city, and responding to complaints from locals about abandoned and stray animals.
