The Utah Animal Adoption Center is primarily supported by private foundation funding, business sponsorship, and individual donations. The funds raised by UAAC aid in saving lives by funding animal rescue efforts and giving sick animals the care they require.

Sheltie Rescue of Utah's goal is to locate new homes for rescued Shetland Sheepdogs (Shelties), rehabilitate them physically and mentally, and provide them with a happy, healthy life.

The Humane Society of Utah provides adoptions, training, cheap spay/neuter surgeries, pet immunizations, advocacy, and education.

The city owns and runs the West Jordan Animal Shelter. The facility provides treatment and assistance in finding a forever home for thousands of stray, abandoned, or lost animals.
