Rowan County Animal Shelter

I started showing dogs around 1970. weimaraners specifically. I enjoyed the breed's characteristics of being lap dogs, intellectual (when they decided to be shorthaired), and devoted to their owners.

Our goal is to find homeless animals forever homes or permanent sanctuary while also rescuing, spaying, and neutering them and giving them the finest medical care possible in a nurturing environment.

A non-profit, 501(c)3 organization that rescues unwanted animals (mainly dogs) in Rowan County, Salisbury, North Carolina. a significant portion of our animals are last-day urgent canines that arrive from the high-kill Rowan County Animal Control facility.

The mission of Cabarrus & Stanly County Animal Rescue is to save animals and provide them with a temporary home until they can be adopted by loving homes.

The mission of Mount Pleasant Animal Rescue, a 501(c)3 non-profit, is to save as many animals as it can and place them in wholesome, devoted homes.

The Davidson County Animal Shelter is a free-to-the-public facility supported mostly by contributions and the Davidson County government. We were founded as a shelter to care for, feed, and shelter stray, hurt, abused, or unwanted animals in this community. The goal of the shelter is to reunite missing pets with their rightful owners and provide abandoned and mistreated animals a second opportunity at long, healthy lives in secure, loving homes.
