By providing stray animals with a safe haven until they may be reunited with their owners or adopted into responsible homes, the NJ CAS serves the community's citizens and animals. The mission of NJ CAS is to treat everyone with dignity, compassion, and kindness.

Animal Control also looks into reports of animal cruelty and neglect, rabies control, feral cat issues, animal bites, and quarantines.

Up until the animal is either returned or adopted, the Alan Purcell Wayne Animal Shelter in Wayne, New Jersey, offers a secure and loving environment.

The wellbeing of all domestic animals in our community is a concern for the Animal Control Division. We are in charge of providing sanctuary for unwanted, abandoned, stray, and seized animals.
