Providing safe, temporary or permanent homes for cats and dogs is the goal of the nonprofit organization Hill Hounds Rescue and Animal Sanctuary, Inc.

On Maryland's Eastern Shore in Queenstown, there is a 501(c)3 no-kill rescue and lifetime sanctuary called Chesapeake Cats and Dogs.

Committed to offering vital resources, being a positive presence in the community, and preserving and enhancing the lives of homeless animals.

The improvement and preservation of homeless animals' lives is the core purpose of our organization. We work hard to establish a standard of excellence and leadership in animal welfare initiatives that are progressive, humane education, and animal care.

In Talbot County, Maryland, Talbot Humane offers a safe and healthy environment for unwanted companion animals under its care, finds loving homes for adoptable companion animals, guards against cruelty and neglect for all animals, and reduces the number of unwanted companion animals through education and spay/neuter services.

By spaying and neutering these cats, Really Great Cats Rescue (RGCR) aims to minimize the population of feral and neglected cats.
