The goal of PAWS for Life is to rescue lost or unwanted animals, return them whenever possible to their owners, or, after having them spayed or neutered, find them loving homes.

Due to a need in the Pueblo, Colorado, region, Cooper's Companions is a foster-based rescue that began in 2018. We've helped save nearly 700 animals in a little more than 4 years.

We are a dog rescue organization recognized by the State Veterinarian's office of the Colorado Board of Agriculture.

An independent, privately owned, non-profit organization is The Humane Society of Fremont County. We are an open-admission animal shelter that offers services for animals.

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization called Two Girls Four Paws is committed to saving dogs and giving them a second chance at life.

The main organization in Southern Colorado that cares for abandoned and mistreated animals is the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region, which was founded in 1949.
