The mission of Fur-Ever Home Rescue is to uphold the highest standards in companion animal care, training, and community support. Our purpose is to put a stop to animal abuse, neglect, and homelessness by promoting ethical pet ownership.

In 1987, Minnesota Federated Humane Societies became a legally recognized nonprofit entity. Since then, we have devoted all of our efforts to achieving our main goal: upholding and enforcing Minnesota's animal welfare regulations.

I came to the conclusion that starting my own rescue was the greatest way I could help animals after fostering cats and dogs for various regional charities. Why not, when you have marketing and vet tech experience? I have a strong affinity with animals, and I have spent my entire childhood among dogs and cats. About five years ago, I started volunteering at Minneapolis Animal Care and Control, which further strengthened my desire to aid strays.

We help the people and animals of Central Minnesota by practicing and promoting high standards of animal care, delivering caring customer service, and conducting humane education because we believe in the relationship between humans and animals.
