The team at Chatham Sheriff's Animal Resources is committed to helping the residents and communities of Chatham County, North Carolina.

Old English Mastiffs can be rescued and placed with families who are able and willing to provide them a secure, loving, permanent home via Southern States Mastiff Rescue.

We began working toward our goal of saving animals in late 2015, and we have already saved over 25 animals.

Our adoption center takes in cats and dogs from the county shelters in the area and cares for them in our adoption center until their everlasting homes can be found.

Our organization's mission is to encourage responsible pet ownership via humane education and to care for domestic companion animals until a loving, responsible home can be found for them or until they are found and returned to their guardians.

Animal Control and Animal Sheltering operations in Orange County are handled by the Animal Services Department. Its goal is to provide affordable, integrated sheltering and animal management services that safeguard the health, safety, and well-being of people, pets, and the community at large while also meeting the requirements of the locals.
