In 1989, the National Greyhound Adoption Program was established in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Our top priorities have always been to assist in placing retired racing greyhound pets in loving, permanent homes.

Our priority at Hart 2 Heart is to assist animals in Philadelphia and the neighboring counties. To help abused, unloved, and abandoned animals find loving, permanent homes, we care for them.

Our all-breed dog rescue was established in Southampton, Pennsylvania, in 2008. While Wet Nose Organization has an adoption center, we do not keep dogs there because we are a 100% foster-based rescue.

Serving the City of Philadelphia under a contract, ACCT Philly is the leading supplier of animal care and control services in the area. In addition to services for owner surrender prevention, ACCT Philly offers adoption, foster, and volunteer programs.

Although we occasionally work together to enhance animal welfare, the ASPCA does not act as a governing body, and we are not technically affiliated with one another. Each of us is a nonprofit with a distinct goal.
