PERU ANIMAL CARE & CONTROL

Animals that are abandoned, mistreated, or abused are treated humanely by the City of Peru Animal Control.

We are extremely proud of the animals we adopt out at the Wabash County Animal Shelter (WCAS). All of our animals, including puppies and kittens, are spayed or neutered before being allowed to find their ideal homes.

Its objectives are to give a permanent home for stray animals, to dispose of unwanted pets, to provide adoption services, and to educate people about adoption.

Our rescue is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, and all of its funding comes from donations, volunteers, and foster homes. Finding stray or abandoned kittens and bringing them into our foster program is the main responsibility of this rescue.

The staff at the shelter is welcoming and friendly, and they offer a wide range of services to help these animals find permanent homes.

The Kokomo Humane Society offers a variety of services and initiatives to the local community, including pet adoption, humane education, and volunteer opportunities. We also investigate cases of animal cruelty, provide round-the-clock emergency assistance, and enforce local laws.
