FOPAS was established in 1999 by a group of concerned citizens. Our main goal is to care for the stray and abandoned animals in our care and find them permanent homes.

KC Pet Project - Zona Rosa Adoption Center

A 501(c)3 nonprofit organization called KC Pet Project manages the animal shelter at Kansas City, Missouri's KC Campus for Animal Care. We currently operate 14 pet adoption locations in Missouri and Kansas and care for more than 15,000 animals annually. Through our Keep 'Em Together, KC program, Lost and Found services, and pet safety efforts like microchipping, pet identification, and more, we concentrate on proactive programs to assist people keep their dogs.
