Bay County Animal Control

For more than ten years, Heartland Rescue Ranch has served as a haven for thousands of animals that have been rescued, treated, rehomed, or saved.

A nonprofit organization called The Lucky Puppy Dog Rescue & Kennel rescues dogs, treats their physical and mental conditions, and places them in loving, permanent homes.

By offering foster homes and an adoption program, our organization's goal is to decrease the amount of stray and abandoned animals in our neighborhood.

The people of Lynn Haven are renowned for their kindness and love for our animal population, and they frequently ask what they can donate to support our shelter.

Each indoor dog run is equipped with a bed, food bowl, toys, and enough space for even the biggest dogs to wander around comfortably. Each day, our kennel technicians and volunteers clean them.

All of Gulf County, Florida, is serviced by St. Joseph Bay Humane Society. Every year, we take in about 500 animals. More than 80% of the dogs we get have heartworm disease. Additionally, we collaborate with several breed-specific rescues.
