Furball Farm is committed to provide shelter to cats who are in desperate situations. Until they are adopted into a loving home, each cat is free to live out its entire life in a cage-free environment.

We came together with the shared interest of rescuing, rehabbing, and rehoming animals after recognizing the need for local rescue in our neighborhood. Founded with pride on November 26, 2016.

Since 1985, Rice County has been served by Prairie's Edge Humane Society, formerly known as Rice County Humane Society.

The serenity and contentment that our dog, Rocky, exhibits while on the property inspired the name of our organization. We pondered other things that might be content here after witnessing him in such tranquility.

A small group of animal enthusiasts who wished to help Freeborn County's abandoned and unwanted animals created the Freeborn County Humane Society in September 1976.

The Mower County Humane Society (MCHS), which was established in 1950 and is based in Austin, Minnesota, is a wholly independent, non-profit, no-kill organization that is staffed entirely by volunteers.
