Since 1995, LRHS has offered a secure and loving home to animals that have been abandoned, mistreated, or are unwanted. Our goal is to provide foster care for cats and dogs in need while also promoting their welfare and health via community outreach and education.

Maureen Cahill established Pet Tails Rescue in March 2012. Our facility, which is used for adoptions, training, and quarantine, is situated on Route 4 near Northwood, New Hampshire. A group of passionate volunteers who are committed to the rescue and placement of homeless dogs and cats run and assist the Rescue on a full-time basis.
