We are also a no-kill organization, which means that no animals are ever euthanized because they are homeless or have behavioral issues. We only euthanize if the animal is suffering from major health problems that are untreatable.

In Douglas County, Oregon, Saving Grace, Inc. is a 501(c)3 private, non-profit organization devoted to providing immediate care for stray, neglected, or abandoned animals. Our goal is to make Douglas County a more humane place by offering companion animals who are homeless a temporary haven, essential veterinary treatment, and a route home. We are the only full-service open-admission animal shelter in the county, offering food, shelter, and medical care to countless animals every year.
