The goal of the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Cape Coral Animal Shelter is to foster a special bond between people and animals through adoption services, medical care, training, and education.a

Our goal is to give abandoned animals with humane treatment by providing a safe haven, first-rate medical attention, and an adoptive home. More than 3,000 animals in need of sensitive care are taken in by us every year.

Cat Tails and More is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal rescue organization. We help cats and dogs find new, permanent homes.

Together, the Lee County Sheriff's Office, the Gulf Coast Humane Society, the Cape Coral Animal Shelter, and the Lee County Domestic Animal Services give second-chance canines and Lee County inmates the chance to learn from one another and improve everyone's life.
