The Cattaraugus County SPCA was established in 1905 and is a private, non-profit, no-kill animal shelter. We are committed to protecting animals' lives and offering adoption services for stray and abandoned animals.

122. Pet Connection Programs Inc.

A non-profit 501(c)3 dog maternity shelter called Pet Connection Programs Inc. also runs a spay/neuter assistance program for cats.

123. Sadies Safe Harbor

A 501c3 non-profit organization called Sadie's Safe Harbor Canine Rescue is devoted to saving dogs from local and out-of-state shelters as well as from owners who are unable to care for them.

In 1984, the HEART Animal Rescue & Adoption Team Inc. was established. Since then, we have helped countless of animals avoid death. We are a nonprofit, no-kill group made up entirely of volunteers whose primary goal is to lessen the suffering of neglected, harmed, abandoned, ill, or injured animals in Western New York.

To offer companion animals in our community with love, care, shelter, and advocacy in order to stop cruelty to all animals through public education about their humane treatment. We are devoted to the idea of never killing a companion animal, and we practice adopting, fostering, and rehoming companion animals who are in need while also working to reduce the number of them through community outreach.

Our goal is to encourage and support spaying and neutering of companion animals, as well as to protect the health, safety, and welfare of people and pets.

Animal placement into the most suitable forever home is facilitated by the volunteer-run organization 716 Paws. To locate homes for dogs in need, we collaborate with shelters both locally and nationwide. Our objective is to give both dogs and people a lifetime companion while lowering the overall canine euthanasia rate.
