A 501(c)(3) not-for-profit company called PLACE FOR CATS was established in the State of New York. In 1994, we became a not-for-profit organization. Since 1990, PLACE FOR CATS has helped 1000 stray cats find new homes.

The Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals is dedicated to seeing the day when no healthy, well-behaved New York City dog or cat is put to death just because they lack a home.

To advance TNR and prudent colony management, FCI offers free TNR certification training as well as support services.

By rescuing and rehoming stray and abandoned cats, advocating spay/neuter programs, and collaborating with people of our community to find humane solutions to issues concerning homeless animals, our objective is to improve the lives of companion animals in our city.

In England, the first Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) was established in 1824 with the main goal of stopping the mistreatment of carriage horses during the pre-automobile era.

Woof Dog Rescue is listed with the city's New Hope Project, which serves as a bridge between rescue organizations and the city shelters and was established by Mayor Bloomberg. In order to find them their new forever homes, Woof Rescue rescues adoptable dogs and cats from these shelters and gives them with the security of foster homes, critical medical care, re-socialization, training, and delicate loving care. We are a small nonprofit with a few devoted, dedicated volunteers but no shelter facility. Our days are largely devoted to finding foster homes, training, veterinary care, and interviewing prospective adopters.
