December 2010, Canine Commitment of New England has been a 501c3 non-profit. In the state of New Hampshire, we only have one location that is a certified shelter facility. On Ross' farm in New Boston, the puppies have their own structure.

Animal Rescue League of NH

Over 2,200 cats, dogs, and small animals are aided annually by the 501(c)3 nonprofit organization known as the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire. Incorporated in 1904, the ARLNH was established in 1902. ARLNH's first shelter facility was established in Goffstown in 1942 and was housed in a remodeled house. We inaugurated our brand-new Bedford facility in 1998.

Our story is similar to many others in that we are a group of animal enthusiasts and long-time volunteers who, while on vacation in Puerto Rico, encountered a black dog whose situation was so dire that we felt obliged to intervene.
