Nacogdoches Animal Shelter

Animal control and enforcement are handled by the Kurth Memorial Animal Services & Adoption Center in Lufkin, Texas. Angelina County residents may surrender their pets to us.

As a group, we work hard to improve both the human and animal populations in Lufkin and the surrounding areas.

The Winnie Berry Humane Society is a no-kill organization that works to end the suffering and death of unwanted animals by reducing pet overpopulation, educating the public, offering services to enhance animal welfare, and helping homeless animals through our adoption program.

We are a no-kill cat sanctuary that is non-profit. There are 110 cats living with us right now, and several of them are up for adoption. Any form of donation is accepted. For questions, please get in touch with us.

The goal of Henderson Animal Center is to offer the City outstanding treatment and temporary housing for stray, abandoned, and homeless animals.

We are a refuge run by the city. Only stray and lost animals from the City of Jacksonville will be accepted by us.
