Knox County Humane Society - Cat Shelter

The Knox County Animal Shelter, which is supported and run by the county, collaborates closely with the Knox County Humane Society to find homes for as many animals as it can. Every dog in the shelter receives a commitment to health from our staff and volunteers.

Wonderful animals of all ages are available for adoption from us, subject to application acceptance and a modest cost. Volunteers and pet foster parents are both welcome!

The Morrow County Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) charity. Since 1974, we have worked to ensure the humane treatment of all animals, including dogs, cats, horses, and other species. This endeavor is still ongoing.

Please get in touch with the Division of Animal Control if you have a problem with either domestic or wild animals. In addition, we react against animal maltreatment.

We save lives at the Licking County Humane Society. As a non-profit, no-kill facility, LCHS relies on local donations to provide the homeless and neglected animals of Licking County with the life they deserve.
