Posey Humane Society

There are over 100 cat cafes in the US, including us! The Vanderburgh Humane Society is our owner and operator. As a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit, the cafe allows us the chance to present homeless, adoptable cats in a distinctive atmosphere.

The mission of the Evansville Animal Care & Control Shelter is to promote public safety, responsible pet ownership, and the control of animal overpopulation.

A network of foster homes and volunteers known as Another Chance For Animals works with Evansville Vanderburgh Animal Care and Control to save animals.

In Evansville, Indiana, there is a nonprofit organization dedicated to animal welfare called the Vanderburgh Humane Society. "Alter, Adopt, Adore. is leading the charge in our community to end pet overpopulation through spay/neuter, adoption, and humane education.

We are a 501(c)(3) primarily volunteer, no-kill rescue, and our aim is to "work as one in aiding homeless animals irrespective of breed, location, or circumstance."

Our goal is to put an end to the local catastrophe of animal overpopulation, find homes for stray and abandoned animals, and offer community services and educational activities for the mutual benefit of people and animals.
