MACC retains the power to reject any application for adoption. Animals are adopted at MACC on a first-come, first-served basis. No down payments or partial payments are permitted. Although every animal is examined before going up for adoption, MACC cannot ensure that the animals haven't already been exposed to some sort of disease.a
