To avoid unnecessary euthanasia by providing access to inexpensive sterilization/vaccine procedures, rescue support, and community outreach initiatives. To educate our community on responsible pet ownership and good care for neighborhood cats.

The Junior Humane Society is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization that rescues animals. We have supported animals in the Gulf Coast region for more than 30 years.

Animal Control and the Animal Shelter sections make up Escambia County Animal Welfare. In order to establish a community that is safe, healthy, and compassionate for both people and animals, Animal Welfare collaborates with the locals. The section supports public safety, appropriate pet ownership, and overpopulation of animals through education. In Escambia County and the city of Pensacola, Animal Control enforces and looks into violations of Florida state laws and Escambia County's animal control bylaws.

Our mission is to prevent pets from entering shelters. Whether your pet requires behavioral coaching, a consistent food supply, or a rehoming method that avoids the shelter, we can help.

Through advocacy, adoption, instruction, and a sanctuary, the Pensacola Humane Society is dedicated to enhancing the lives of companion animals in our neighborhood.
