East Mississippi Animal Rescue

Lauderdale County's animal welfare laws are upheld and operated by Animal Control. Every year, the shelter will accommodate about 4000 animals.

Our animal shelter is 501C3. We take in dogs and cats and charge adoption fees. Before they leave the building, they will receive spaying or neutering.

Only dogs inside the boundaries of Philadelphia, MS 39350, are picked up by us. We are a rescue organization that also takes in, adopts out, and picks up dogs. We don't pick up, adopt, or take in cats.

Bay Springs, Mississippi's Happy Healthy Pet Adoption, Inc. (HHPA) is a no-kill animal shelter. A volunteer, unpaid Board of Directors runs our shelter. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit company that was created in 2003. All donations, which are tax deductible, go toward the direct treatment of animals.

We want to make a difference in the terrible overpopulation issue in the south by not only saving animals but also by assisting with public awareness campaigns, neighborhood outreach initiatives, foster networks, and transportation initiatives. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit company. We aren't letting the remodeling of our facility slow us down, though! Thanks to a network of nearby foster families, we are actively preserving animals.

We are a nonprofit group working to improve the lives of Jones County's stray, abandoned, and maltreated animals.
