The goal of the Medfield Animal Shelter is to find lost or abandoned animals, care for them, and keep them safe and comfortable until they can be returned to their owners or adopted into new homes. Since we are a no-kill facility, no pet will ever be put to sleep because its chance of finding a home has passed.

A non-profit, no-kill organization, The Purr-fect Cat Shelter (PCS) is entirely volunteer run. With the ultimate goal of finding each cat a permanent home, it was founded to give cats temporary refuge and care. Accepted cats stay in the shelter for as long as is necessary; they are not put to sleep just because they haven't found a home yet.

The Framingham Animal Control is an animal shelter that houses and cares for stray, unwanted, and owner-rendered animals, including dogs and cats, in Massachusetts.

MWHS, a proponent of animal welfare, concentrates on ensuring the wellbeing of cats in the Metrowest Boston region, including helping them find loving homes.

Providing education, advocacy, and hands-on rescue, Off the Rocks Rescue is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) animal welfare group committed to helping homeless cats.

It's hard to believe that such a facility exists for homeless dogs, but it does: Shultz's Guest House is a 501c3 canine rescue shelter, situated on 200 private acres in Dedham, Massachusetts. Dogs and visitors feel as though they have entered paradise because it is surrounded by trees, ponds, and the Charles River runs through it.
