Offers temporary housing and care for stray, unwanted, and owner-rendered pets in Lewis County, including dogs and cats. The Lewis County Animal Shelter may also provide a wide range of extra services.

To encourage the humane treatment of all Harrison County animals in need of protection, to stop cruelty to animals, to end animal suffering, and to promote humane education, particularly with regard to spaying and neutering companion animals.

A zero-euthanasia standard is what we strive for at Tri-County Animal Shelter. We rely on you, the general public, to assist us in achieving this goal by spaying and neutering your pets and by immunizing your puppies and kittens.

We take seriously the responsibility of placing our rescued animals in loving homes. We have only one chance to get it right because we are the only voice they have.
