The Glady Mae Animal Sanctuary

Ethical Society of North Iowa's mission is to educate the public on the humane treatment of animals with the aim of reducing overpopulation. It also includes providing temporary housing, food, medical care, and comfort to displaced and neglected companion animals.

The Humane Society of North Iowa's goals include reducing animal overpopulation by educating the public about the humane treatment of animals and providing temporary shelter, food, medical care, and comfort to displaced and neglected companion animals.

We are one of the very few no-kill shelters left in Iowa and are committed to preventing neglect, abuse, and cruelty toward unwanted or abandoned animals.

CBHS is driven by a passion to: Find animals loving, lifelong homes. the promotion of compassionate care issues. Teach the benefits of having pets. Protect the abandoned, stray, and unwanted.

The Moffitt Animal Shelter exists to provide a temporary haven and shelter for stray, abandoned, and neglected animals. It also promotes humane treatment of dogs and cats through education and is a strong proponent of pet population control.

We serve North Central Iowa as a limited intake ("no-kill") facility. We support the necessity of pet spaying and neutering as well as humane education. Neither the state nor the city give money to our group.
