San Felipe Dog Rescue

The Hill Country Humane Society (HCHS) is a managed admission, 501(c)3 non-profit animal shelter. For the purpose of housing stray dogs and cats, HCHS has agreements with the counties of Llano and Burnet as well as the cities of Burnet, Bertram, Granite Shoals, Cottonwood Shores, and Horseshoe Bay.

To provide a forever home, heartworm prevention, rabies and parvo/distemper vaccinations, spay/neuter services, and medical care. to promote responsible spay/neuter

A sanctuary for animals run entirely by volunteers. Due to the restricted number of volunteers, we are only open by appointment. Since 1997, we have placed thousands of dogs and cats in loving homes.

It is a little non-profit adoption center called Central Texas SPCA. We do not accept owner surrenders or stray animals because we are not a public drop-off location. We pull pets from high-kill shelters that are at risk of being put to death into our facility in order to save them.
